What is reev ready?

reev ready creates the foundation for connected energy and charging infrastructure: the hardware is equipped with reev software already at the factory and is therefore designed for connectivity, remote troubleshooting and fast service from the very beginning.

reev ready forms the technical basis to flexibly activate one of the reev licenses (Pro, Business, Enterprise and reev Living) at any time, or to upgrade seamlessly as needed. This makes the hardware flexible, future-proof and prepared for a wide range of requirements in the semi-public space. It reduces implementation risks, increases planning certainty and accelerates commissioning for electricians, businesses, fleet operators, hoteliers and property developers – at no extra cost compared to the non-pre-configured hardware version.

reev and Easee agree on a new technology partnership

Going forward, selected Easee charging stations in Germany and Austria will be equipped with reev software at the factory and delivered as reev ready. Manual on-site configuration is no longer required, and commissioning is guided through the reev Companion. Easee brings a strong foundation to the partnership, with more than one million charging stations installed across Europe and a scalable system that grows from a single parking space to sites with many charging points. Together, reev and Easee want to make charging and energy infrastructure more reliable and easier to implement.
