The Design department is searching for a keen Instructional Graphic Designer who will have the mission to design and create awesome manuals and data sheets for our products that are going to shape the future of electricity.
As our new Instructional Graphic Designer, your main focus will be designing and developing instruction materials from scratch, together with the innovation teams. You will be testing user guides and ensuring that the instruction materials are clear. Besides, you will create a clear and defined pipeline for instructional material projects to reduce mistakes, bottlenecks, and waste of time and resources. We believe you are a team player with a positive attitude. You are organized, structured, and have an eye for detail. This role will be located at our Sandnes or Oslo office.

What you get to do every day:
- Responsible for analyzing, developing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining instructional materials. Establishing a new manual requires teamwork across departments – in this process, you will manage the collection of relevant information and see that it’s added to the manual.
- Coordinate and handle different versions and translations, reviewing them with native speakers, and making sure the message will be delivered in the best way in all the countries we sell
- Test installation guides with installers and users, ensuring the instructions are clear and understandable.
- Ensure the manuals are as environmentally friendly as possible, working closely with the sustainability team and print shops.
- Keep our database and our suppliers constantly updated with the latest versions of the manuals and product sheets.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders.
- Explore different learning platforms (instructional videos, animations, VR, etc.).
What we think is a good match:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, instructional design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with instructional materials.
- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You are self-motivated, take the initiative and work well in teams.
- You are fluent in Norwegian and English – other languages are a plus.
- Technical writing is a plus.
- Technical illustration is a plus.
- Communication and empathy skills.
