What are you going to do?
You will be part of the New Markets team based in our Amsterdam Office. As a player in the team, you will be responsible for getting Easee ready for entry into a new market from a financial and legal perspective. You will be the liaison between the New Markets team and the Global Finance team, supporting the operational requirements in the early stages of the new entity set up. This’ll be an end-to-end role, covering accounting, compliance, planning & analysis, business systems, identifying resource requirements and setting up the local Easee entity. You will:
- Identify compliance, local reporting and taxation requirements in the new markets
- Provide input into the strategic tax planning with the Global Tax Manager
- Identify local regulatory issues for new markets
- Contribute towards the formation of new market pricing strategies
- Support operational requirements in early stages of a new entity set-up
- Assess local supply chain structures in potential new markets and contribute towards route-to-market decisions
- Liaison between new markets team and global finance team

- You love getting your hands dirty but also have an eye on the bigger strategic puzzle that needs solving
- You have experience in a global business in finance operations. You might have helped shift boxes or moved across borders digitally. Either way, you know your way around the World of Europe
- You like to be given freedom to make it your own. But with that freedom comes responsibility on which you thrive
- You enjoy working with and managing several internal and external stakeholders in parallel
- You have experience of export, logistics, distribution sectors would be looked upon favourably
- You embrace technology and value software and systems as a central part of any business growth
- You don’t mind traveling to other countries if required
A day of a Finance Manager at the Easee office
We start the day with a coffee and a chat with your colleagues in the office. You pick up the phone to the new accountant in Spain; you want to discuss the progress of the set up of the entity before you join the weekly New Markets team call. Here you clearly sketch the situation and action plans for the next few weeks and help everyone in the call understand where we are and what the next steps are. After a busy morning, you have a nice lunch with the team and perhaps even a coffee on the rooftop (if the dutch weather permits this). Your afternoon is filled with doing the financial administration of the New Markets team and some legal paperwork regarding the new entities. Before the end of the day, you finance colleagues in Norway ring you to have a quick sync on the situation.
