Our Embedded team is developing crucial software for our smart chargers and Equalizers. In the not-so-distant future, the embedded software in our new products and services will enable a faster, better, and easier charging experience for our users. We are passionate about developing new products, as well as making sure our existing ones have best-of-breed user experience. In the Embedded team, we believe in giving our colleagues time and space to delve into their work – and do what they do best!
We are now looking for multiple Embedded Software Developers in Oslo and Stavanger, both junior and senior developers. As a developer in Easee, you will get to take part in the complete product development process – from concept to production. You will take ownership and work in an autonomous and cross-functional team, either focusing on our Energy Squad, Installation Experience, Partner Integration, Charging Experience, Embedded Platform.

You will have the opportunity to work on:
- Developing products that will be used by millions of people across the globe, perhaps the one on your neighbor’s garage wall?
- Contribute to developing IoT solutions
- System development and programming of microcontrollers in C.
- Lead and/or take part in larger project development: architecture, implementation, and testing
- Contributing to innovation and learning, across all our technology teams
- Graphics/user interface – we want our customers to really enjoy the user interface on the products they purchase
- Wireless communication, proprietary 868MHz, BLE, wifi, or 4G – we want all our products to communicate seamlessly!
- Digital power supplies, AC/DC conversion, PFC, Control theory – our DC charger is on its way!
To succeed we believe you need
As a Senior Developer:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Cybernetics or other relevant education
- Experience with embedded system development and programming in C
- Proactive – You understand what needs to be done and you do it.
As a Junior Developer:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Cybernetics or other relevant education
- Experience with embedded system development and programming in C
- Genuine interest and desire to improve and learn as an embedded developer
Bonus or nice to have:
- Payment solutions – we want the user experience to be as uncomplicated and simple as possible
- Experience with RTOS and/or bare metal programming
- Experience working with Hardware and Cloud developers
