We are extremely excited to be searching for the next Executive Assistance to our CEO, Jonas Helmikstøl. We have seen tremendous growth over the last four years, and we are continuing to aim for what some might say are crazy goals (we love aiming high!). As you can imagine the growth of the company has also impacted how our CEO spends his time, and we see that in order to reach our goals we need someone who can ensure that he is set up for success and that his time is freed up to achieve a sustainable work/life balance.

Easee’s vision is to shape the future of electricity and business culture. Our goal is to be one of the largest companies in green technology in Europa within 2026, and one of the largest in the world within 2031. This role will allow you insight into running a fast-growing business, where we love to try new things and allow employees to think for themselves. You will get to work directly with our leadership team and internal/external stakeholders, running projects and prioritizing our focus areas. You will be a close confidant to our Chief Caretaker, and you will be responsible for his day-to-day schedule.

We have no doubt that you are not only a Jack of all Trades when it comes to being a EA, and that your previous experience in this role will assure us of this. The person we are looking for is a protector who can proactively solve mishaps, prioritize the right things, and who proudly and efficiently represents the best interests of the Chief Caretaker and Easee. You are driven by love and a genuine hope of changing the world for the better. This also includes working on your own skillset, and you are not afraid of receiving or giving direct feedback to those around you.

What you will be doing

  • Act as a filter between the Chief Caretaker and people internally and externally, to free up time for the Caretaker
  • Maintain close contact with the leadership team, the rest of the organization and external stakeholders
  • Process and summarize large amounts of information for the Chief Caretaker and present it in an efficient way for him to make decisions and in some cases take those decisions yourself so he doesn’t need to get involved
  • Manage and prioritize the Chief Caretaker’s email, Slack and other communication channels
  • Manage Chief Caretakers calendar, travels and hotel stays
  • Take lead on events related to the Chief Caretaker, the leadership group, and others
  • Other tasks as smaller and larger projects given by the CC e.g., collecting information from leaders, extracting the essence of the information, and creating something tangible/simple for the rest of the organization to read.

  • You are organized and structured, and you are comfortable making the decisions on what needs to be prioritized
  • You are able to get the grasp of complicated areas quickly, and to process large amounts of data in both English and Norwegian. You are able to then subtract the “need to knows” from the large amounts of “nice to knows”.
  • You are service-minded but you are also not afraid to stand your ground and prioritize the needs of Easee/Chief Caretaker 
  • You are driven by love and a genuine hope of changing the world for the better. This also includes working on your own skillset, and you are not afraid of receiving or giving direct feedback to those around you
  • You are truly a solution-oriented person, adapt quickly to changes and you hold yourself accountable completing tasks that are started

The role is a one-year contract (with opportunities for permanent employment for the right person), and you will be fully trained by the current EA for the first few months to make sure you are set up for success.
